New CBS mogul: Charlie in charge?

CBS announced that Charlie Moonves -- son of CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves and CBS ‘The Early Show’ anchor and ‘Big Brother’ host Julie Chen -- was born at 9:40 a.m. this morning in Los Angeles. The two-sentence corporate statement said: ‘Mother and child are doing well.’ The Moonves boy was born slightly ahead of schedule -- but, fittingly, during TV premiere week. Chen’s due date had been Oct. 4. It is the first child from the union of Moonves and Chen, who married in late 2004. Moonves, who turns 60 next month, has three children from his previous marriage. Charlie is the first child for Chen, 39.
