'Twilight' Countdown: 30 days until the movie premiere

We're almost there, "Twilight" fans. Just one month away from getting to sink our teeth into the story of Bella and her pale paramour Edward.

To celebrate, the EN&B blog will be bringing you daily -- yes, daily -- "Twilight" treats, including video and fan profiles and exclusive Q&A and film stills as Nov. 21 draws near.

To kick things off, here is my favorite "Twilight" Sims video. You wouldn't believe how many of them there are, but I still laugh every time I watch this one. It also doubles as a decent primer for the uninitiated:

And, just as a bonus, the day's best bits from around the Web:

  • Spanish "Twilight" site Crepusculo has several new shots from the set -- including this one of Bella in a very, er, interesting ensemble. The film's producers are not working with a "Harry Potter" budget, and yes, Bella is not supposed to sporting "Gossip Girl" styles in Forks, Washington. But Edward is supposed to be attracted to her -- at first glance (more or less) -- and this green pajama top-on-jean outfit would more likely keep him at a distance, no?
  • Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, reveals to Premiere.com how he wasn't director Catherine Hardwicke's first choice to play Edward's pop. Click above to find out what he meant when he said: "I always joke that I bought the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen for $29.99. And I was worth every penny."
  • MTV's "Twilight Tuesday" presents an interview with Anna Kendrick, who plays the jealous Jessica Stanley, in which she quashes gossip that she was giving Kristen Stewart (Bella) the stink eye: "I adore Kristen! She is totally my homey."
  • Mark your calendars: Cam Gigandet, who plays bad vamp James, will present never-before-seen footage from the movie on Spike TV's Scream 2008 awards. Tune in Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. for your sneak peek.

Twilight on SNL, Robert Pattinson as Host!

Just Imagine the Skit Possibilities!

We the loyal fans of Twilight and Robert Pattinson petition NBC and Lorne Michaels for a special Twilight show with Robert Pattinson as host. Spunk Ransom's innately quirky sense of humor and acting abilities make him a perfect host candidate. Combine that with the LEGION of fans thirsting for more Twilight (who have broken viewing records for the movie trailers) and success is assured. Also, the movie soundtrack provides a selection for musical guests.

1. Go now and sign the petition for "Twilight on SNL".

http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/TwilightonSNL[/size]

2. Email NBC or Lorne Michaels on November 1st with the subject title "Twilight on SNL".

3. Spread the word.

If you do get a chance to interview Rob please ask him about his role of Salvador Dali in Little Ashes. We want to know if he's seen the final film and what he thinks of it.

Kristen's green outfit is hideous. Any chance of an interview with Robert Pattinson?

What? I love that outfit. :)

I watched The Scream Awards. I mean, the footage is great, but I've seen it MILLIONS of times. So, I'm disapointed. :(

An exclusive clip from Twilight?
I beg to differ.
The same clip was shown in MTV, AND Comic Con. and Spike or Summit Entertainment cut it up in a way that made the movie look sloppy and unfinished. The only thing that was different was that there was a brief moment where you can see Alice, Jasper, and Emmett coming to help Edward fight the evil James, but OMG so what I've seen pictures of that shot before. I was excepting something different like the Port Angeles scene or the scene when Edward was showing off who he really was.
Also, at least in the MTV and the Comic Con version there was some background music playing that set the tone for everything Spike didn't even have that..
Well I guess it was OK due to the fact that Cam got some face time. (which was awesome)

I heard Summit is doing this thing for Twilight where you text BELLA and your zip code to 43Kix, (that means 43549). Make sure oyu have your zip code though, I think it's so they can text you when Robert or Kristen are in your area. It doesn't work without the zip code though.

They sent out an update about free screenings all over on 11/18 also. 'Want 2 see TWILIGHT b4 anyone else? 11/18 is the date, 43kix has your fate. Stay tuned 4 contest details, Im betting on Alice 2 win. http://43kix.com/twilight' If you go to that link there's more info on the updates.

this girl dose amazing things with her sims 2 twilight! she is only 15! i hope you look at this. she really should just find her true calling as a director now. she dose such a nice job!

Yes, get a Robert Pattinson interview! That would be EPIC.

WOW!!! GREAT MOVIE, BUT NOTHING AGAIN COMPARES TO THE REAL TWILIGHT MOVIE!!!

haha Rob on SNL?? Are you kidding?? that might happen if SNL was a show for entertaining people and show casing new exciting talent. But too bad SNL isn't for that anymore, now all they are concerned about is putting down and making fun of Palin and Mccain, then getting down on their hands and knees and worship and promote Obama.

Rob on SNL? Yaah right, in what world do you live in?

anyways Im a huge fan of Twilight and it will be huge! OME I can't wait!

I'm not sure how I feel about Twilight as a movie, even though I love the book and have read it twice. The story is much better off left to the imagination; it's no fun to see everything played out without being able to take part! One movie that got it right lately is Let the Right One In. I was lucky enough to catch a pre-screening last weekend and it is seriously one of the best horror films I’ve seen in a while. It’s got everything: vampires, a coming of age plot, romance, a serial killer, and Sweden all rolled into one. Check out the trailer: http://sixshooterfilmseries.com/

Rob is a good looking guy, all the hair clovers up hes HOT face. I think he should lose the 5 o'clock shadow.....
