I now welcome your thoughts on it. The facial hair, I think, is very un-Edward. (Could Bella's marble prince even grow facial hair? It seems unlikely). But do we like it just the same? Does it make Robert sexier? More smoldering?
Or just too Wolverine?
Perhaps he's sporting the new look in the name of Spunk Ransom's next Whiskey A Go-Go gig.

i think he looks fine with it, but hes wayyyyy hotter without facial hair
i know he hates to shave.. i heard nikki reed say it in an interview hahha

I personally like the beard .. makes him look more scruffy and i enjoy that in a man lol .. its fits well with the type of music he plays

First Rob is hot regardless. Second, yeah his hair is dirty but as a hairstylist I can tell you one, clean hair is not as cooperative, and two have you seen how much he plays with it on a daily basis? I guarantee he washes it everyday or close and it just gets nasty from fondling it all day. I personally think Rob has the most drop dead sexy jaw-line imaginable and as someone already said its "criminal" to hide it, and I agree. But as I've heard in from Nikki Reed's interview Rob apparently hates to shave...so I can imagine he does so as little as possible.
Regardless...Rob is the epitome of sexy, facial hair or not.

I think facial hair or no hair he is sooooo amazingly handsome either way but without the facial hair that just makes him a tweeny bit hotter.....HE IS SEXY EITHER WAY

he looks georgous no matter what, with a beard without one. He's still the yummiest man I've seen in a long time. He's also an excellent actor and musician.

Okay this is a great pic and he looks gorgeous with the beard.
For those that think he is trying to hide, do you blame him.

I believe its un-edwardish BUT Robert looks very very very SEXII in this photo! Facial hair on some guys dont really work but it does on Robert :) omg i CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE I'M DYING!! lol (i'm just SOOO happy that we don't have to wait until dec 12 anymore =) )

Urgh. You've GOT to be kidding me. I think he looks absolutely AWFUL with a beard. Stubble is hott, beards are not! He doesn't even look Wolverine... that WOULD be sexy. He's still gorgeousness though... I'd just prefer he lost the beard :D

I like the facial hair!!!!! It makes him hawt (not that he wasn't already) :p. I don't know if I like him better with or withouth it.... He's still sexy either way =] I don't think Edward would have facial hair though, but it works on Rob.

He's hot....remember people he's Robert Pattinson not Edward Cullen in real life!! I'm glad to see that he is his own person and isn't trying to be anyone but himself. I love that he musses his hair constantly (nerves) and stumbles to answer questions. I've never met him but he seems to be one of the most "real people" out their in Hollywood.I hope he never changes his attitude and continues to pick the scripts that he likes not ones that are forced on him. But after saying all that he is Edward Cullen and always will be in my mind and the only thing that could ever disappoint me more is if he wasn't the one acting as him in all the movies!!

to be honest, he does look a little too wolverine-ish. i agree that the bone structure in his face is too good to hide under all the scruff. u may not agree with me, but if u look closely at the Twilight movie stills and t-shirts and stuff, Robert Pattinson looks better unscruffy.
