A.M. Greenlist: New bus solutions
>> San Francisco's getting new, green smart buses, at least on a trial basis. The SFist is rather snarky about the whole deal -- "it's sort of like teaching a dumb kid how to fold origami when what he really needs is a math tutor" -- but I'd love to see this feature on L.A. buses: "Prominent display of on-bus, real-time information, including status of connections at key transfer points. Allows riders to reach their destinations more reliably." The buses are also hybrids with free wi-fi.
