Get an eco-facial in Los Angeles

Over the holidays I decided I was going to treat myself to a new year's facial. Suddenly, it's March! So for all of you ready for a spring facial, here are the eco-spas on top of my list, sorted by location:

Greenbliss Green Bliss Eco Spa -- Mobile. Ask not what spa to go to, ask what spa will come to you. This eco-friendly mobile spa service uses organic and sustainable, locally-made and/or fair trade products and brings everything from a massage to a mani-pedi to the comfort of your home. An hour-long facial costs $150; you can pick from four different ones -- including a Gentlemen's Rescue Facial.

Jurlique Jurlique -- Beverly Hills. Jurlique's personal care products -- made with biodynamically and organically grown herbs and flowers -- are beloved by many. Hour-long facials run between $110 to $130. Santa Monica has its own Jurlique store too -- but this location no longer offers facials.

Thibiant Thibiant Spa -- Beverly Hills. This spa has its own personal care line of locally-made, paraben-free, organic certified products. Go in for a mud treatment, body glow, or a massage. Prices range from $90 for a basic facial to $170 for a Beauty Lift Facial. The Organic Facial, which uses pure organic products, costs $150.

Ra rA Organic Spa -- Burbank. Even rA's building's eco-friendly, with bamboo floors and VOC-free paints. This spa offers a whole bunch of different treatments ranging from an acupuncture to massages to body wraps. Choose from four different hour-long facial, each for $85.

Spat The Garden Spa't -- Eagle Rock. This one-woman shop's owned and operated out of a restored craftsman house by Tanis Rhines, who specializes in custom, organic skin care treatments. I got a super soothing and relaxing facial here a while back -- and would go back if the Spa't wasn't all the way on the east side. The shortest facial lasts a luxurious 75 minutes -- and costs just $80.

Arcona The Arcona Studio -- Santa Monica. This  spot uses its own paraben-free products, many of which contain organic ingredients. Most facials are 50 minutes long, and range from $85 for a Signature Facial Contouring massage to $145 for an Awards Night facial. Boys: A men's facial costs $100.

Bey The Bey's Garden -- Santa Monica. Organic facials, soy-based waxing, and massages using only essential oils are all offered here. The hour-long Eminence Facial costs $90.

So many spas, only one face.... I think I'm going to go with proximity, and pick from one of the two Santa Monica spots. Got a facial at any of these eco-spas? Let me know how you liked it in the comments.
