Eat out, drink tap water, do good
Here's a good reason to eat out this week -- and enjoy a glass of tap water along with your meal. Restaurants all over L.A. are participating in The Tap Project, a UNICEF campaign to help make clean tap water available to children around the world.
Beginning today through World Water Day on Saturday, March 22, participating restaurants will ask customers to donate $1 for a glass of tap water. According to UNICEF, each dollar gives a child clean drinking water for 40 days.
Find participating L.A. restaurants here. There are 121, by my count, including some of my favorites: Mani's on Fairfax and Wilshire Restaurant in Santa Monica.
Happy dining and drinking --

I think what UNICEF is doing with water in the Los Angeles area is pretty cool I will donate each time I each out ..
