Whittier is a natural extension of the southern leg of the Gold Line. Extending the northern leg to Montclair makes sense and the southern leg to Whittier. It should not be all one line however.
These colors are limiting. Once you've exhausted the primary colors and we have, the naming gets wierd.
We should use letters, numbers, or even Hollywood celebrities, or attach letters and numbers to existing colors.
