Metro>> How should we fund public transit? All y'all who weighed in on the subway to the sea half-cent tax issue: Take your opinions to Metro's latest chat with  Pam O'Connor, Metro Board Chair, happening today from noon to 1 p.m.

>> L.A. County has passed only a voluntary anti-plastic bag measure, but Whole Foods will be plastic-bag free by Earth Day, April 22. This goes for all 270 Whole Foods stores in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. The grocery store chain will encourage customers to bring reusable bags -- and will continue to offer paper bags.

>> San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom lays out his plan to decrease CO2 emissions 20% below 1990 levels by 2010.
