Although Frank and Jamie McCourt agreed to a divorce settlement last month and filed its terms with the Los Angeles Superior Court 11 days ago, attorneys in the case have yet to finalize the legal language of the settlement. The document was set for court approval Monday, but Judge Scott Gordon postponed the matter until Nov. 28 to allow the attorneys more time to complete their work.

Under the settlement, Frank McCourt must pay Jamie McCourt $131 million by April 30. After he agreed to terms of the divorce settlement, Frank McCourt agreed with Major League Baseball on a bankruptcy settlement that requires him to select a new owner by April 1 and close the deal by April 30.
