Small fire at Dodger Stadium forces fans to be relocated

Dodgers-fire_640
Fans at Dodger Stadium along the right-field reserved level and upper deck had to be relocated in the fifth inning Saturday when smoke began drifting onto the ballpark from a fire in small warehouse below the reserved level.

A helicopter circled the smoke-filled area as at least four Los Angeles Fire Department fire trucks arrived at the scene. One truck extended a ladder from a lower, terraced parking lot to the upper deck.

Fans in the reserved level and upper deck were moved calmly to another part of the stadium.

The Dodgers said the small fire had been contained but were uncertain as to its origin. No one had to be evacuated.

The smoke continued to drift down the reserved level for another inning.

WOW What else is new over there?

LA holds fish fry, end up smoked.

Dodger fans fired up, burned by loss.

Really, I could do this all night......

Now imagine if this would have been a game from several seasons ago; everyone didn't realize the scum that is the McCourts, the terrible product on the field, and overpriced EVERYTHING, and actually filled the stadium. Where to put all those people??? It was easy this time, plenty of room for all and it still looks dead. McCourt, give up and go!

McCourt tried to burn down Dodger Stadium for the insurance!!! HAHA!!!

"Fans in the reserved level and upper deck were moved calmly to another part of the stadium."

Um.... Wouldnt that mean that fans in the reserved level and upper deck were evacuated to another part of the stadium. Oh I guess not.....

"No one had to be evacuated."

McCourt Hater: No, there's a difference between being relocated and evacuated. No one had to leave the stadium, just find a new seat.

I agree with Darren... it was all for the insurance money. When will McCourt realize that NO ONE in this town wants him here? Sell the team already...and ALL Dodger-related assets too!!!

Origin of the fire was discovered - someone collected a sackful of Barks in the Park, lit the bag, knocked on Frank's office door, and ran like hell.

Tommy Lasorda is right: a higher power is a Dodger fan and giving a hint to Frank; pack you bag and hit the road.

Did anyone see Jaime at the ballpark?

Of course they didn't have to evacuate, no one was there.

@ Labeldude

LMAO!!! I'll bet it was Jamie!!
