Steve,

I think the boycotting of the Dodgers worked beyond many people's expectations. Enough people declined to purchase season tickets, and along with no-shows, this hurt plenty. Question: Is Selig scared that this type of fan action can spread?

I'm amazed at this giddy dancing all over the bones of your 'former owners' here ...

the things that people say about L.A.'s fair weather fans must be true.

....hard to tell if we are fair weather fans or not....haven't had any fair weather since 1988.

sheesh! - Are you Steve Soboroff?

There is greater significance to the season ticket drop off of 10,000 than meets the eye. Previously Dodger season tickets were "capped" at 27,000 with a waiting list. Today's 17,000 represent anyone and everyone wanting them and includes some packages heavily discounted. This defection of season ticketholders is a strong indictment of the McCourts by the Dodgers most loyal and longstanding fans most of whom are poised to come back with the change in ownership.

I think a message must be sent to buddie,"NO MORE OF YOUR FRIENDS OR ANY HAND PICKED OWNER,ESPECIALLY HAND PICKED BY buddie!" Remember the last guy he hand picked. HOW`S THAT WORKING OUT FOR YA? buddie was almost as good at ru(i)nning the Brewers as he is at ru(i)nning MLB. They were terrible under buddie. MLB isn`t doing all that well under buddie either. The Dodgers are the fourth or fifth club that has been in or is in financial difficulty during buddie`s watch. DO NOT LET THIS GUY HAND PICK THE NEXT OWNER. HE IS ALREADY THROWING NAMES AROUND LIKE DENNIS GILBERT,REGGIE JACKSON AND STEVE GARVEY. NO GOOD. with this crowd, they will be just like frankie and jamey, they will compete and even win the NL West, NO GOOD!!!!!LOS ANGELES NEEDS AN OWNER THAT COMPETES WITH THE NY YANKEES AND BEATS THEM MORE THAN THEY LOSE TO THEM. WE NEED AN OWNER LIKE CUBAN OR BROAD, PERIOD. BUT buddie wants shoestringer, thats why he pushed for two more and and a total of ten teams in the playoffs. anything for the bottom line even if the entire major leagues is made up with guys like mccourt. If the bottom line is black then you are green to buddie!!!! buddie`s answer to everything is expand the leagues or expand the playoffs. Would you buy a used car off this man, well thats how he made his money. Don`t get your hopes up for Mark Cuban, he is not going to rubber stamp any and everything buddie wants, he is not a yes man..
