Dodgers rained out

The Dodgers' 1 p.m. Monday home game against the Oakland Athletics has been called off because of rain.

The second half of the Dodgers' day-night doubleheader, at 6:40 p.m. against the Arizona Diamondbacks at their new complex in Scottsdale, is currently still scheduled to be played.

Just when I thought I'd watch a nice ballgame on a rainy day, it rains in Arizona.

Steve,

Thanks for all the BASEBALL coverage of late. I get enough exposure to questionable businessmen and messy divorces in my own life. I come here to see who might make the team, who might be the closer, how the prospects are doing, etc. Glad to see in upswing in actual baseball news.
