Ronald Belisario: 'I lost my passport'
Ronald Belisario told a Venezuelan newspaper that he lost his passport and that he should be able to report to camp soon after obtaining a new one.
But that's news to Belisario’s agent, Paul Kinzer, who said on Wednesday that his client will probably miss the entire season because of his inability to gain legal entry into the United States.
"That would be news to me," Kinzer said. "I hope that's true."
Kinzer said he has lost touch with the hard-throwing reliever, who hasn't reported to camp on time for the third consecutive spring.
"He's gone kind of quiet," Kinzer said. "I haven't heard from him in a few weeks."
Kinzer again declined to say why Belisario hasn't reported to spring training.
"I lost my passport, and I have an appointment set for Friday," Belisario told Lider en Deportes. "I passed the embassy's medical examinations, and all I have to do is get the passport."
Belisario said he would report to camp.
"Of course, I'll go to spring training," he said. "As soon as I get the passport, I'll go back to the embassy to get a visa. They already have my test results."
He said he hasn't called the Dodgers because he will resolve the situation on his own.
The newspaper reported that Belisario "tested positive" in his medical examinations with the U.S. Embassy last year.
Belisario missed more than a month of the regular season last year to receive treatment in a substance-abuse program.

good thing "Belly-Sorry-O" was not a member of the Packers of the '60s, as he just would NEVA make it, having to "adjust" to the infamous "Lombardi-Time" (LMAO)

I don't think he's lost anything off his fastball, but he has lost his passport and apparently his mind?
Let him go.

I love watching Ronald being Ronald!

Cutting through the language barrier...Ronnie was attempting to say "The dog ate my homework."

Maybe his dog ate it...

I bet his dog ate his homework too.

what does he have on ned that makes the dodgers give him so much leash? apparently, he feels he can just show up when he wants without telling his employer anything? he's not that good. i'd cut him the day he shows up to camp. three years of this is more than anyone deserves. enough already.

Here I am! In the glove box under the Chivas!

Okay, so let's say the 2010 season ended about Oct 3. What part of "get it done before training camp" doesn't Bellisario understand? Really, three years of this stuff is outrageous and just plain stupid!

Hmm, the old I lost my passport trick. Well, it worked for Lindsay Lohan...when she was in Cannes and couldn't fly back here for a court hearing or something. Anyway, not having Belisario isn't a big deal...there are more than enough relievers in camp to fill the roster spots.

He should just stay home in Venezuela. He's worn out his welcome. He's a distraction to a team that proved last year that it can't handle distractions.
Belly is a child in a grown up's body and doesn't have the mental capacity to be a professional major league baseball player. If he does show up to spring training, it's only a matter of time before he finds trouble or trouble finds him once again.

ned coletti should say, "we lost your contract"

This just goes to show when one grows up poor and then makes the big leagues, get some big money he beomes destructive to himself and does not remember the life he had before he became rich. SNIFF sniff Ronnie when MLB and the Dodgers turn their back on you you will be back in your country living on memories and selling cigarettes once again. What a fool what a fool. Cut him already he is not protecting his future and he could (care less) about the Dodgers future.

Ha Ha, I guess he didn't think his passport was that important. Colletti comment could be classic," We'll just say hello when he gets here".

Belisario is a clown who should be fired or made GM.

My dog ate my passport! Wow! With all his potential. Really needs a program.

Maybe it's with Lindsay Lohan's passport, the one she "lost."

Seems like Ronald is now eligible to be part owner with McCrap. One buffoon deserves another.

Wow! New year but same old story for Belisario!!

(They were all in the same envelope.)

What a fool! No you have not lost your passport... You Have LOST YOUR MIND!

I so hope that Belisario and Lohan start dating. Kemp and Rihanna is so last year.

he doesn't mean that its been misplaced,
he means that they've taken it away !!!

He could lose his passport but he can find and keep his connections phone number. I am sure the Dodgers have a minor leaguer with a strong arm just waiting for that opportunity to come up and play in the Bigs. I am sure he will take it a lot more serious then Belli. Cut this loser already.
