A charitable fund in memory of Christina Green, the 9-year-old slain in Arizona on Saturday, has been established by her family. Green was one of six killed in the apparent assassination attempt on U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) by a gunman in Tucson.

Six died and 14 more were injured in the violence. Jared Lee Loughner, 22, has been charged in the shootings.

In addition, the Dodgers have responded to the outpouring of offers of support for the family by establishing an e-mail address (greenfamily@dodgers.com) through which family, friends and members of the community can share thoughts about the tragedy. Submissions will be compiled into a memorial book for the family.

Letters also can be sent to the team at: Dodger Stadium, c/o the Green Family, 1000 Elysian Park Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90090.
