Just like he said before -- or was that three or four times before? --- he’s baaack!

Manny Ramirez is in the Dodgers lineup for tonight’s game against the Reds.

To make room on the roster, the Dodgers designated infielder Juan Castro for assignment.

Aside from three at-bats in on July 15, Manny hasn’t played since June 29th. He’s been on the disabled list three times for right leg injuries, the latest a calf strain.

Manny has lost some of his power, but is still hitting .317 with eight homers and 39 RBI in 186 at-bats. He has, however, missed half the season.

With the Dodgers’ offense struggling, they were eager for Ramirez to return to the lineup. He is batting third.
