Jamie McCourt: Frank changed the agreement

Jamie McCourt

The agreement that Frank McCourt says gives him sole ownership of the Dodgers was thrown into dispute Thursday when his estranged wife asked a court to consider three copies of that agreement that she says specifically exclude him from sole ownership of the team.

In a court filing Thursday, Jamie McCourt argues there were six copies of the agreement, three that provided Frank with sole ownership and three that did not. Dennis Wasser, an attorney for Jamie, said the wording that provided Frank with sole ownership was changed after Jamie signed the agreement, thus committing fraud.

If the judge deems as valid the three copies that Jamie has urged the court to consider, Wasser said, the case could be quickly decided in Jamie’s favor.

“I don’t think there’s much to argue about,” Wasser said.

The purpose of the agreement, Wasser said, was to shield the couple’s non-business assets from creditors. He said Jamie never would have signed an agreement in which she had been told she would have surrendered her interest in the Dodgers in exchange for sole ownership of the couple’s homes.

“They weren’t trading assets,” Wasser said. “There was no quid pro quo, to trade residential property for the Dodgers. That would have been absurd. No one would have ever done that."

How many of you complaining will actually do something about this?... you know, other than rant and cry on the internet while you cuddle your James Loney bobblehead. Team boycott, anyone? Try the off button on your TV and go support a real team in a real sport.

Anyone ever notice how chummy the ex-Ms. King was with Jamie Mc Court ?Maybe it wasn't a limo driver or little league coach at all ... Maybe it was case of wives switching boy-toys and bitter Viagra enhanced old husbands ... Just a thought.

Bud Selig please intervene and save us from this nightmare. The dodgers are going to be in shambles when these two are done with them.

An open message from Dodger fans to Frank & Jamie McCourt:

We Hate You!

Geez. Look at that diamond on her ear.

PLEASE PLEASE SELL THE DODGERS & GET THE HELL OUT OF LA!!!
DODGERS FANS DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BE OVER!! OH IF ONLY THE O'MALLEY'S WERE STILL HERE....

They are the reason I now turn all my attention to Galaxy Football rather than watching Dodger Baseball. Sorry guys ... I'd rather catch an athletic event in Carson.

Call Larry Bowa and let him settle this with a strap on! "Pinch hitting for Charlie Hough. Manny Mota..Mota....Mota." C'mon Larry. Take charge & help us make the transition for Torre & Mattingly. Joe deserves a better final season & Don a better entrance. Where's the dignity. Dusty Baker is laughing hard & shaking his head. Lopes, Cey, & Garvey are sharpening their teeth. This is embarrassing. Tell Tommy to call R.J. Reynolds & squeeze the McCourts back in their downtown Boston parking spot! "Baseball has been berry berry berry good to me. divorce..I dunno?"

Does Jerry Buss have any extra cash to buy the Dodgers?

There will be a fan protest on the opening day of the trial outside the Superior court building at 8 AM. Here is your chance to show your displeasure with the ownership. Please attend.
