All hail Hong-Chih Kuo, Part II in a continuing series

Left-handed hitters doubled their average against Hong-Chih Kuo on Saturday night.

On Roger Bernadina’s bunt single in the eighth.

Even counting the bunt, left-handers are now 2-for-41 against Kuo this season. Simply stunning.

More good news for Kuo supporters: By pitching out of trouble in the eighth, he ran his scoreless innings streak at home to 19 1/3.

That means in 17 appearances this season at Dodger Stadium, he has yet to give up a single run. Opponents are batting .094 against him at home (six for 64) with 17 strikeouts.
