The Dodgers’ third walk-off victory in three days was their hardest-earned, requiring Manager Joe Torre to use four relievers and giving the stadium’s in-game entertainment crew the opportunity to play “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” twice.

But soon after the 14th-inning stretch, the Dodgers broke the 0-0 stalemate, as slumping Garret Anderson drove in Matt Kemp with a bloop single to center field for the deciding run of a sweep-sealing 1-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks, who lost their 10th consecutive game, were held scoreless over the final 31 innings of the series.

Former Dodgers prospect Edwin Jackson pitched nine shutout innings for the Diamondbacks in his first game at Dodger Stadium as a visitor, limiting his former team to three hits and striking out six.

The Dodgers received a pleasant surprise from Carlos Monasterios, who held the Diamondbacks to two hits in five innings in a spot start.

The Dodgers had a chance to win the game in the 10th, when James Loney led off with a double. But Anderson struck out, Rafael Furcal popped up to third and Russell Martin hit a broken-bat floater back to pitcher Aaron Heilman.

Rookie reliever Travis Schlichting pitched four innings of relief in his season debut and earned the win.
