Manny Ramirez was removed from the Dodgers’ game in Cincinnati on Thursday night with a right calf strain, according to the Dodgers. [Updated at 5:54 p.m.]

Ramirez, who missed two games last week because of tightness in his right calf muscle, slowed down as he ran down the first base line for a sixth-inning single. Reed Johnson pinch ran for Ramirez.

Ramirez was 1 for 3 and is now batting .415. The Dodgers were ahead, 3-2, at the time of his exit.
