Dodgers sign Reed Johnson to a one-year deal
Outfielder Reed Johnson has signed a one-year contract with the Dodgers, according to a baseball source who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the deal hasn’t been officially announced.
Johnson, 33, is a .282 hitter over seven major league seasons, the last two with the Chicago Cubs. He batted .255 with four home runs and 22 runs batted in last year in a season in which he sat out nearly two months because of a broken foot.
