Robert Gibbs: 'Jon Voight joke in here'

November 5, 2009 | 12:50 pm

The White House today was asked for comment on a crowd that assembled on Capitol Hill to protest healthcare legislation.

"I'm sure there's a Jon Voight joke in here somewhere, given he was one of the featured speakers,'' White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said of the activist actor who had a few choice words for the White House this week.

"You're not even going to try and make it?'' a reporter asked.

"No,'' Gibbs said. "My father always told me my mouth would get me in trouble."

See what Voight had to say and the rest of the report in the Swamp.

Robert Gibbs is an idiot just like Family Guy. I believe they were separated at birth. They look the same and act the same.

And this is the best spokesperson that Team Obama could find?

Jon Voigt is the idiot. no wonder angelina 'divorced' him for years!

This pinhead can't wake up! As an Obama voter with regrets, I now know he can't see the forest for the trees. They're burying us! Help!

This administration is an absolute embarrassment. I've never once seen Gibbs actually answer a simple question, only a smug and condescending rip or personal attack on someone who dares question his Messiah. Lie, deceive and misdirect, now that's change we can believe in.

Well said, Tara, but I ordered a vente vanilla latte "without" foam.

Gibbs is incompetent. He thinks America and the President are only for Democrats. The last time I checked I was still an American but I am treated worse than the Obama aunt because I am a Republican, and a moderate one at that.

The only joke around here is Gibbs.
