How to shuck corn easily

I'm a sucker for ingenious "trucs" -- those little kitchen tricks that make cooking easier. This handy tip comes from the folks at Cooks Illustrated and America's Test Kitchen (and a tip of the hat to @Francis_Lam for passing it along).

I'm not alone. Last night, I told a friend about Saveur's great method for peeling garlic in metal bowls and got an e-mail from his wife this morning saying that he was out on their back porch peeling head after head while singing "Day-O" at the top of his lungs.
