Dinner tonight!: Spaghetti with green garlic and fried egg

Spaghettikirkmckoy

Did you say garlic? For something fresh and seasonal, toss a plate of spaghetti with some quick-cooked green garlic (long green stalks similar to green onions); the stalks have a lighter, more delicate flavor than more mature cloves. Top the dish with a fried egg and you're good to go -- dinner in less than 30 minutes. You can find the recipe here.

For more quick-fix dinner ideas, check out our video recipe gallery here. Food editor Russ Parsons and Test Kitchen manager Noelle Carter show you how to fix a dozen dishes in an hour or less.
