May 16, 2012 |  1:12 pm

15 degrees-800wiHeaded up the Central Coast for this weekend’s 30th annual Paso Robles Wine Festival? You might want to plan a pit stop at 15 Degrees C Wine Shop & Bar in Templeton, which is presenting tastings of small-lot local artisanal producers, a.k.a. garagistes, during the weekend. Producers pouring include AmByth Estate, Alta Colina, Clesi, Giornata and Henson

The tastings are intended to promote the second Garagiste Festival , scheduled for Nov. 10 at Windfall Farms, an equestrian estate in the area.

The Garagiste Festival satellite tasting room will be open during Paso’s Wine Festival weekend, May 18 and 19, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A $15 fee buys tastes of two wines each from five different producers.

15 Degrees C Wine Shop & Bar, 1121 Rossi Road, Templeton; (805) 434-1554.

While you’re up there, you might want to put the Mr. Picky Paso Robles Wine Tasting app on your iPhone. Just 99 cents, so what’s to lose? Meanwhile, you’ll have a listing of all Paso Robles' wineries and tasting rooms, complete with hours and contact information; restaurant and hotel listings. And a Google map to easily show locations.
