Cinco de mayo
CINCO DE MAYO COCKTAILS

Imbibe magazine lists 12 cocktail recipes featuring tequila and mezcal, including an Anejo Smash (aged tequila with a "splash of minty freshness") and a Smokey Negroni (mezcal, Dolin vermouth, Campari).

GOOD CHEAP WINE

The search for $15-and-under wines leads Food & Wine to discover a few gems, even ones whose bottles have animals on the label. But here's a tip: Splurge when it comes to Pinot Noir.

EASY RESSIES

Reserve My City, a Foursquare add-on that lets you make restaurant reservations, gets called a "genius idea" at Mashable. After you find a new restaurant and add it to your Foursquare to-do list, Reserve My City sends an e-mail with a map and a “Reserve Now” link to OpenTable. "Frictionless."

COFFEE, PLEASE

Wired checks out the "robotic baristas" at Briggo coffee shop at the University of Texas. (They sound like fancy coffee vending machines.)
