TWINKIES HANG IN THE BALANCE 

Hostess and its union workers trade threats about the end of Twinkies, reports The Times, unless a labor deal is struck. The Ding Dong and Wonder Bread maker filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January.

TRACKING HUANGLONGBING

The California Department of Food and Agriculture posts information about citrus disease huanglongbing in the race against the threat to the state's citrus industry, including a hotline number, quarantine maps and a downloadable blight-tracker app.
