Got rugelach? We're here to help!

RugelachbryanchanLooking for a winning rugelach recipe? Former Test Kitchen director Donna Deane came up with these for a holiday story we ran a few years ago. And we still haven't been able to forget them....

Her recipe makes the most wonderfully flaky pastry dough, which you can wrap around your choice of fillings, including chocolate-hazelnut, cherry-almond and apricot.

Tempted yet?

The Food section's first e-book, a collection of 50 of our favorite holiday cookie recipes from the last decade, is on sale now. All of them have been vetted by the Times' Test Kitchen, so you know they work. Download it on the Amazon Kindle, the Nook or via the iBookstore. Or go straight to the source.

Just in time for holiday baking.
