In an effort to bring literary and culinary artists together for good food and conversation, poet Gabrielle Calvocoressi and gallerist Heather Taylor founded Eating Our Words.

The event occurs bi-monthly, and this Thursday it presents Anne Zimmerman & Gourmet on Wheels at Taylor De Cordoba, a contemporary art gallery in Culver City.

Now in its second season, the gallery kicks off the first event of round two. Guest literary artist Anne Zimmerman, author of Extravagant Hunger: The Passionate Years of M.F.K. Fisher, will discuss her book on American food writer Mary Frances Kennedy Fisher. And to complement Fisher’s desire for ‘the fine reality of hunger satisfied,’ culinary artist Rene Klaassen and Gourmets on Wheels will serve artisanal cheese products and charcuterie to attendees.

Taylor de Cordoba, 2660 S. La Cienega Blvd., L.A., (310) 559-9156, taylordecordoba.com.
