Wings and things: Delphine executive chef Sascha Lyon (pictured right), inspired by one of his favorite things to eat with a cold beer and a few friends, kicks off ‘Wing Nite’ on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The ‘Wing Nite’ menu will be available every Tuesday, with truffle cheese, honey sriracha, BBQ beer with green chile and Thai red curry wings ($4.50 for two to four wings). Corona beer is $5 and PBR draft is $3. Or sip an Early Tea ($6) or Honey Bee ($7) cocktail. Sides include coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, and celery and carrots with blue cheese dressing. 6250 Hollywood Blvd. (at the W Hotel), Hollywood, (323) 798-1355, www.restaurantdelphine.com.

Going whole hog: Napa Valley Grille executive chef (and Westwood neighborhood councilman) Joseph Gillard launches a monthly ‘Whole Beast Feast’ dinner series, with a five-course prix-fixe menu that highlights curated wine pairings from Napa Valley vintners. The dinners take place on the last Friday of each month. This month’s dinner, on Sept. 23, will feature seasonal specials such as roasted wild porcini mushrooms with goat cheese grits and sweet corn sabayon, whole roasted suckling pig with ratatouille and chicharonnes, and dark chocolate tart with bitter orange marmalade. To wash it down: Domaine Chandon Rosé, Trefethen Family Vineyards Dry Riesling and Belle Glos ‘Meiomi’ Pinot Noir. Each dinner will seat up to 20 guests at the restaurant’s harvest table. (Upcoming dates: Oct. 28, Nov. 18, Dec. 16.) $48 per person; wine pairings, additional $22. For reservations, call the restaurant. 1100 Glendon Ave., Los Angeles, (310) 824-3322, www.napavalleygrille.com.

Livello at Breadbar: Chef Joseph Elevado, of the not-yet-open Livello restaurant at l’Ermitage Beverly Hills, will pop up at Breadbar on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The one-night-only six-course menu is a sneak peek at Livello’s Asian-Italian menu, hosted by Breadbar chef Noriyuki Sugie. Expect an amuse bouche of whitefish and uni with finger lime and shiso leaf, chicken “picatta,” short rib Bolognese with locatelli, “smoked” salmon sashimi and bacon ikura. Cocktails by l’Ermitage beverage manager Stephanie Brown. Two seatings, 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., $65 per person. Specialty cocktails $8 each. Reservations can be made by calling Breadbar Century City and by visiting www.breadbar.net or www.opentable.com.
