Smith House opens today in Century City

Smith House Tap & Grill, from chef Angelo Sosa (seen on ‘Top Chef’), opens today. It’s a pub-style restaurant serving bar food with an Asian flair. Choose from updated classics such as the Smith House burger topped with bone marrow and a parmesan crust, or a ginger-soy glazed steak served with sweet potato puree and five-spiced walnuts. There are, of course, bar munchies given a makeover -- from fried green tomato rings to stout beef chili.
With more than 100 beers on tap, the bar offers interesting flights, including one called the Fruit Basket that is focused on fruit-infused beers as well as a California flight that showcases local brews.
