If you try any of the recipes from the L.A. Times Test Kitchen, we’d love to see the results so we can showcase them on our blog and occasionally in print. This image comes to us from Kyle Lane of Sacramento, who writes the food and lifestyle blog the Girl Kyle.

Kyle tried our recipe for S’more cupcakes and shared the results with us. This recipe called for the use of a kitchen blowtorch. But because Kyle didn’t have one, she improvised. Well done, Kyle! We liked this photo so much that we published it in Thursday’s Food section, on Page E2.
