The Taste is coming

Michael Voltaggio, Roy Choi, Giada De Laurentiis, Duff Goldman, Ludo Lefebvre ... The list of chefs attending this year’s The Taste festival of food and wine goes on and on. Tickets are on sale now for the festival, which will be held during the Labor Day weekend over four days at three locations, featuring more than 200 restaurants.

Co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times and Food & Wine magazine, The Taste will feature events taking place simultaneously in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and downtown. Prices range from $125 and $150 for individual tickets to upwards of $800 for packages.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Share Our Strength; Beverly Hills Education Foundation; Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona; Los Angeles Times Family Fund’s Summer Camp Campaign; and the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Among the restaurants pledged to participate so far are Bazaar by José Andrés, Bouchon, Comme Ça, Craft, Culina, Eva Restaurant, Fig, Terroni, Fords Filling Station, Guelaguetza, Hatfield’s, Huckleberry Cafe & Bakery, Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea, Jitlada, M Café, Mercato Di Vetro, Osteria La Buca, Fig & Olive, Public Kitchen + Bar, Sotto, Sweet Rose Creamery, The Foundry on Melrose, The Misfit, The Raymond and Wurstküche. More will be announced in the coming weeks.
