Evan Kleiman, irrepressible host of the ‘Good Food’ cooking show on KCRW-FM (89.9) and chef at Melrose Avenue’s landmark Angeli Cafe, will be cooking a special dinner to benefit the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels. Oh, by the way, the July 10 dinner will be held at the Design House in Bel-Air, a gorgeous modern $14-million estate (reduced from $17 million!) that is one of the highlights of the Southern California real estate market.

Dine on dishes such as watermelon, ricotta salata and prosciutto, followed by lemon verbena-scented roasted branzino and lemon mascarpone ice cream, and maybe do a little house hunting while you’re at it. All for a good cause, of course.

Better hurry, though, there are only 30 seats. Tickets are $150 each with all proceeds going to the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels.
