I know what you ate this weekend

Peaches Long weekend, long Weekend Eats.

We usually get to Weekend Eats bright and early Monday mornings. But, with the holiday, we split it into two days to give us plenty of time to chat about our Memorial Day weekend meals.

Scroll down below to take a look at some, but not all, of the highlights of our online conversation. In the mix: this photo of grilled yellow peaches served with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey. It comes to us from Lisa Cohen of Encino, who writes the food blog Make Me Hungry. It just says,  "Welcome to the unofficial start of summer," doesn't it?

On the off chance some of you are not familiar with Weekend Eats, that's when we get together on Twitter each week to chat and swap photos of our -- you guessed it -- Weekend Eats. Please consider this your invitation to join us. Check out this monster photo gallery and you will see what I mean.
