What's hot: Latest recipes from the L.A. Times Test Kitchen
All recipes that appear in the L.A. Times' weekly Food section are tested and perfected in our Test Kitchen before they're deemed fit to print. (That means you don't have to worry about a trial run before serving one of our recipes to company.) Rest assured, they should work the first time out of the gate.
Here's a photo gallery look at some of our latest recipes, you can use it to keep tabs on what L.A. Times Test Kitchen manager Noelle Carter is up to.
And here's a link to our online collection, which includes hundreds of recipes from the L.A. Times Test Kitchen. Among them: Whole wheat pancakes, above.
If you try one of our recipes, please let us know about it and take a picture so we can showcase it on the Daily Dish blog and occasionally in print. Upload your photos here.

I hope this isn't a duplicats, because I lost my first attempt. But here goes again.
Love today's leg of lam recipies but why isn't leg of lam featured in any of the local grocery stores? They're all featuring ham, which is tasty and cheap, but what about we cooks who prefer leg of lam for Easter.
Can you tell me why there's no leg of lam featured locally for Easter?
Thanks,
Chris Kevin
