I recently got an email from Gerri, looking for the black bean hummus recipe we featured from Mediterraneo Restaurant & Bar in Hermosa Beach.

It was a favorite of ours late last year when we ran the recipe as a Culinary SOS. The hummus, simple and easy to prepare, includes black beans and a touch of cayenne, lending extra depth and a little heat to this rich and flavorful dip.
