What are you doing this weekend? Are you going to Artisan L.A.? Or Artisanal L.A.? Or both? (Can’t go wrong with doing both.)

Artisanal L.A. takes place Saturday and Sunday at Santa Monica Place featuring artisan food makers showcasing their wares, demos, speakers on everything from craft beer to local honey to urban homesteading and much more. I thoroughly enjoyed the last one held in downtown L.A. I got most of my holiday shopping done in one delicious swoop. I’ll be there this Saturday with the feed bag on. Er, I mean, I’ll be there doing story research, wink wink.

And then there’s Artisan L.A. Racked reports it will also be held Saturday and Sunday in Los Feliz for their very first sidewalk sale, featuring up to 50% off of clothing, jewelry and more.

Special thanks to Racked for flagging the potential for much confusion. I can hear the phone calls now:

--Where are you?

--I’m at the entrance to Artisanal L.A. Where are you?

--Wait a sec. I’m standing at the entrance to Artisan L.A. Why don’t I see you...?
