What do you think were the best Super Bowl commercials? I think we can all agree that the Darth Vader / VW commercial ruled.

But when it comes down to food-related Super Bowl commercials, there was a clear winner: Doritos. Whether the commercials were extolling the restorative powers of Doritos, or underlining the lengths that both man and beast will go to get their paws on the snack -- they were all laugh-out-loud funny.

And effective: By half-time, Doritos (and especially the creepy finger licker) had been mentioned in more than 32,000 tweets according to BrandBowl2011.com.

I also enjoyed the Coca Cola-at-the-border commercial -- has Secretary of State Hillary Clinton considered sending a few cases of Coke to the Middle East? -- and the churro commercial for Fox’s ‘House.’

There was one commercial, though, that just left me feeling cold: Timothy Hutton’s commercial for Groupon. It starts out with an emotional plea on behalf of the people of Tibet, and then launches into a commercial about how to take more money out of their pocket. At least that’s the way I looked at it. What did you think?
