Poster: The Splendiferous Array of Culinary Tools

Catching up on my RSS feeds, the always inspiring blog Design*Sponge found this beauty of a poster for the kitchen from Pop Chart Lab via the blog Fast Co. Design. It might be time to gift your antiquated French food posters to someone appropriate and update your kitchen wall with “The Splendiferous Array of Culinary Tools” mapping more than 100 such tools. According to Pop Chart Lab’s site, the 18x24-inch poster is printed with real copper ink, “the same substance you might find in a fine piece of cookware” on 100-pound archival recycled stock.

Want a better look? On their website you can scroll over the poster to see each section in detail -- scissors, slicers, strainers, openers, graters, grinders, etc. It is indeed very splendid.

$25 for a signed poster at Pop Chart Lab.

This is a neat poster, didn't know the names of some of the things that I have in my kitchen drawer. Funny thing is I'm the one that usually cooks the most in our home. Speaking of "Daily Dish", the other day I went to eat at Thai Grill, on 7814 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood. I truly must say that the food was really delicious, the prices reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. It's a small and simple place, great for a family outing or a cozy date with someone special.
