Does this ever happen to you? You make a quick run through the farmers market and wind up with odds and ends that you can’t quite figure out what to do with? Here’s some of what I ended up with after the Sunday morning Long Beach farmers market by the marina. It’s a terrific spot — and a great argument for the fact that all you really need is a couple of great farmers to make a great farmers market. Picked up most of this from Weiser’s, got some nice Dancy mandarins from another vendor and a sweet piece of Petrale sole from Pete Siracusa at J&P West Coast Seafood. I’ve figured out what I’m going to do, but here’s the question: What would you do with these veggies?
