How does Kentucky Fried Chicken play into the revolt in Egypt? Apparently, there were rumors circulating that the protesters at Cairo’s Tahrir Square were actually being paid to be there -- and catered with meals from KFC (in Egypt, where the chain is extremely popular, this could be considered something of a luxury since a meal there can cost a day’s or even a week’s wages).
