The Project: Water kringle

Kringle Each Friday we post a recipe from the L.A. Times Test Kitchen archives that's perfect for weekend cooking -- when you have more time on your hands.

This week, it's water kringle, a traditional Danish. It will take over 90 minutes, plus rising time for the dough. But you won't give that a second thought once you're enjoying homemade Danish. We've also got a photo gallery guide to making Danish, step by step.
