Admit it: Shopping at the farmers market often induces market basket lust.

Who is that person with the gorgeous African basket and where did she get it? Or that man wearing an antique Southeast Asian backpack stuffed with fat leeks, celery and Stargazer lilies?

You, too, can cut an enviable figure at the farmers market wearing this straw market basket from Morocco with adjustable leather straps that turn it into a light backpack (that is, until you fill it with blood oranges, kohlrabi and kabocha squash). It’s sturdy and strong and won’t get your back out of whack.
