Where are those L.A. Times holiday cookie recipes already?

Here’s an update on where we are with the recipes from the first ever L.A. Times Holiday Cookie bake-off: Today is our Food production day -- the section lands on your doorstep Thursday -- so the editors, copy editors, designers and photo editors are putting the finishing touches on everything right at this very moment.

Who cares, you say -- just give us the darn cookie recipes already!

Well, we are trying to do just that. We have a noon deadline for the Food section, and expect to get all the cookie recipes posted by 2 p.m. (if not sooner.) In the meantime, I can give you a glimpse of the winning cookies, above.
