Madame Chocolat and Jacques Torres pop-up shop in Century City
For anyone who expects to spend more time at the mall than he or she would care to this holiday season, here's a reason to be less disgruntled about the park-and-shop rigmarole: Beverly Hills-based Madame Chocolat and New York-based Jacques Torres Chocolate have popped up at the Westfield Shopping Center in Century City.
Jacques Torres and Madame Chocolat owner Hasty Torres (the two are literally Mr. and Mrs. Chocolate -- they're married) teamed with House of Balsamic to set up a holiday chocolate stand. Among the goods: chocolate Santas and snowmen, bonbons, chocolate-coated pretzels and Cheerios, chocolate spoons (pictured above) and hot chocolate mix.
Open this week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Next week's hours are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Christmas Eve, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Westfield Shopping Center, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City.

Wow this is great!!! In my brief time in New York I stopped by one of Jacques chocolate shops and tried some of his Wicked (spiced) hot chocolate ... simply delicious!!! I also have had Madame Chocolat's chocolates ... They are both amazing in their own unique ways. Love both chocolate boxes! Very fancy, great gifts! Done with my Christmas shopping but I definitely have to stop by and grab some stuff.
