New Year's listings update: Family style at Rustic Canyon, and more

 

Rustic Canyon, a Santa Monica neighborhood favorite, is giving family and friends reason to rejoice for 2011 with a special farmers market-driven menu. Served family style, the dinner consists of eight selections showcasing Santa Monica farmers market produce, such as a winter vegetable panzanella with burrata cheese and salsa verde, braised short ribs with Brussels sprouts and pancetta, and an apple quince crostata.
