Nadia Giosia dishes on her 'Bitchin' Kitchen' and building your own brand
Nadia Giosia, a.k.a Nadia G., is a Renaissance woman. The young Italian bombshell has built an empire for herself -- from designing her own cookbook to successfully launching the first online lifestyle entertainment brand to be brought onto prime time TV. Cooking Channel -- the Food Network's younger, edgier rebellious sister -- recently picked up Giosia’s Web-based show “Bitchin' Kitchen,” which aired for the first time Oct. 6.
Giosia started her career in branding and design, and eventually branched out into her own unique hybrid of cooking and comedy. She attributes much of her success to social media, knowing how to market herself and being a "photo/design ninja".
You can read more about how she made it here.

I freakin' love this show! I love the sick sense of humor. They don't take themselves too seriously and that is so refreshing from the other BORING cooking shows. Those of us who love to cook, love to have fun while we're doing it. Nadia G's brilliant and the recipes are dee-lish!

This show is phony and annoying, sorry.. She's cute and all, but it's not a convincing act. Her accent is fake and I'd bet anything she isn't really that "edgy" or rock n' roll in person. Not a fan.

I love this show!!! I can cook almost all the dishes she fixes because I use the same spices in my cooking. I love flavor in food. I have learned more watching this show about cooking then any cook book I ever read. I been cooking for a family of 1 to 25 at any giving day for 24 years now, I have never own a cookbook because I never found one untill now with it's salt to cook with. I couldn't sleep one night and flip channels I found "bitchin Kitchen" I had to wake my husband up to show him the show. I was like Christmas for me a real cooking for everday with style and lower my stess level over the step- kids. I love it!!! OH and the foods good too. I want to buy all her cookbooks.

Found her show purely by accident while flipping channels tonight.
Who IS this chick? Internet says she's an Italian Canadian. She sounds more like a babe from Brooklyn or Jersey.
Cute for about 3 minutes, then the overacting gets to be too much.

hey, UGH...to each is own, not everyone is going to like the same kind of entertainment.
Why don't you get your own cooking show up and running and we'll compare them?
I can't wait to see. Be sure to post when you're ready for your debut.

I couldn't believe the premise when I first saw it. I tuned in to see if it was all real. Imagine my surprise when the show was exactly as advertised. It's...uh, well, I won't say that it's so bad that it's good--but, I will admit to not being able to look away from it when it's on. Describing it [see below] as an "Italian Transvestite Pee Wee Herman Show " is fairly accurate, but I guess (deep down) that's exactly what I want out of a cooking show. I find myself none too willing to admit that I watch it and I'm not hell-bent on trying any of the recipes...but, I can't stop tuning in. Help!

This show is totally hilarious!! She is a legitamate cook and funny as heck....no run of the mill cooking show here, I got so tired of the 'Bobby Flays" et al...Nadia, you are breath of fresh air!

Forgot to comment on her attire. Love it! Who can cook in heels, rings and bracelets? Obviously she can and that along with the dry humor and antics make this show a stress release at the end of the day.

I watched it for the first time last week and couldn't wait to tell everyone about it. Don't know why I didn't catch this show before. She is hilarious. I thought she was Russian with that deep voice and blond hair. She's the "Ozzie" of the cooking channel!(lol) I love this show! After all day to sit down and laugh like that is great! You never know what's coming out of her mouth next and she is a riot. So glad someone had the foresight to put her on the air. The people that leave the negative comments............lighten up! It's so refreshing from the other "serious" cooking shows.

Clever and entertaining, plus the chef talent looks legit and the food looks good enough to print and try. Very funny woman and we'll watch until she moves elsewhere....and when she does...we'll watch her again. Go Nads....you've got exactly what your shortened name means!!!

This show is hilarious! A 29 year old woman is the creator and writer..wow. Hats off to you Nadia! And Bravo to the Cooking Channel for recognizing her talent.
At the end of the day it's great to enjoy some good laughs and something really creative and different. Good Show!

This is a HORRID show... if I wanted to watch an Italian Transvestite Pee Wee Herman Show I would... well I guess I couldn't because it doesn't exist... but WAIT... it DOES... thanks to THIS Craptastic pile that seared my eyes and ears... I got through maaaybe 10 minutes of it... flipping back and forth with another show in hopes that it would improve!!! Nadia OVER acts and her "badass" attitude.. is just plain... pathetic!!! I won't be watching this show again... and it's a TOTAL stereotype! Really cooking channel??? You couldn't come up with something more innovative than THIS TRASH???? Siiiigh.... EPIC FAIL!!!

Based on the promo alone I thought I was going to HATE this show... but there's an episode on right now and I'm too lazy to look for the remote. Well I have to say, it turns out I really dig this chick :) She's funny and she's pretty legit as a cook.

The correct spelling is bitchen' - and it would surely work better in the title.

Wow, I just caught this show for the first time and could watch just a few minutes. That voice is enough to make me sink my head in a dirty toilet and flush. That cannot be real or she is/was a he? Nothing wrong with it of course, but goodness what is with that voice? LOL

Wow, Jane sounds bitter. My wife and I actually love this show. It's as funny as it is informative and I'll definitely try some of the recipes. It's by far the most entertaining cooking show I've seen in a while anyway.

I've seen only a few episodes, starting with the one with different cures for hangovers. I've never seen a cooking show with such fun, humorous antidotes and good recipes delivered with such pizzpazz. keep up the great work, and i hope to see much more.

I find this show annoying, cheesy and tiresome. And I LIKE rockabilly and Betty Page. The food doesn't even look good and this appeals to the lowest of lows. Really Cooking Channel? This is how you are going to draw viewers? I get hot chicks cooking, but do they have to be this annoying?????
