-- The Hungry Cat is expected to open another location, its third -- this one in the former Brass Cap space in Santa Monica. Chef-owner David Lentz plans for a February debut. Eater LA 

-- Sausages-and-beer palace Wurstküche is moving west too.  Look for it on Lincoln Boulevard in Venice. No opening date yet. Feast

-- Chef Kris Morningstar leaves Mercantile and District in Hollywood. "It's been a wonderful experience the past two years being associated with Bowery St. Enterprises," Morningstar says in a statement. "I am looking forward to pursuing other endeavors. It is a pleasure to have my number one, Kevin Napier,  be my successor." Chow Balla
