Kitschy L.A. hipster mecca the Cha Cha Lounge doesn’t slack when it comes to throwing a fun party. This seems especially true when the bar is celebrating the launch of its own online store: http://shop.chachalounge.com. To mark the momentous event -- one that will allow you to purchase Cha Cha Lounge T-shirts designed by well-regarded artists including Eduardo Benedetto and Colin Burns -- the Cha Cha has recruited popular L.A. blog and magazine L.A. Record to DJ a party that will include the opportunity to bring in an item of your own clothing for a variety of different designers to silkscreen on.

More importantly for the purposes of this blogger, whose humble job it is to steer you in the direction of special deals on food and drink, it should be pointed out that for one night only L.A. Record will be selling limited-edition L.A. Record pint glasses featuring a super-cool design created by Fantastic Heat Brothers. As you can see it involves four elements that should be close to any music-and-beer lover’s heart: An eagle, a bacon-wrapped hot dog, a boom box and strange dancing zombie toad babies (who apparently represent the lizard people rumored to live beneath the downtown library). It should also be noted that the eagle is, in fact, eating the bacon-wrapped hot dog. Awesome. The cost is $5 and your glass comes full of the holy grail of the cheap, tragically hip brew: PBR. The party starts thumping at 9 p.m.
