Small bites: Pourtal does lunch, LGO wine tasting, dim sum at XINO

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar is now serving lunch. Wednesday through Sunday come enjoy lunch along with a glass of wine. Pourtal’s new lunch menu is offering: goat cheese and berry salad, lamb kofta, cheese flatbread, lamb gyros, and pork belly. 104 Santa Monica Blvd.; (310)393-7693; pourtal.com.

Toast of the coast, LGO wine tasting night. On Aug. 16, La Grande Orange is hosting an evening of wine tasting. Come try 25 West Coast wines for $25. Appetizers will be passed around to go along with the wine. All featured wines can also be purchased at the event. Dim sum and then some at XINO Restaurant. Along with the re-opening of the Santa Monica Place on Aug. 6, XINO Restaurant is opening as well and bringing innovative Chinese dishes and dim sum.
